Busy Weekend!

It was a busy weekend for Campbell as we embarked on another roadtrip to Dayton to attend the annual Warner family reunion. We had a great time visiting, and Campbell enjoyed meeting her extended family.

Exhausted!

After the Warner get-together, we traveled a whole 5 minutes to visit Liv's best friend from college, Beth, and her fiance, Chris. Beth & Chris recently got engaged, so it worked out well to go dress shopping this weekend, too. They are planning a wedding for the end of the year, and Beth honored Liv by asking her to be the matron of honor. Congratulations to Beth and Chris on their recent engagement!

Special Gift

Aunt Geri searched for a special gift for Campbell, and found this custom made "tartan" that represents the Campbell Clan of Scotland. They only weave these tartans on request, so this was made just for Campbell. Thanks Aunt Geri and Uncle Mike!

Campbell got to meet our friends Meg and Rick for the first time. She also got to meet Baby Leonard who will arrive in November!

Happy Anniversary!

Although we usually just write about Campbell, we thought we would share a family picture from our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a nice dinner out, while Mimi and PawPaw watched Campbell. We thought she'd be in bed by the time we got home, but she was wide awake and the life of the party.

Campbell's New Cabana

Campbell enjoyed relaxing by the lake in her new cabana. The only thing missing is a little cabana boy... although Daddy says no way until she's at least 25 or 30!

Campbell and Mom before her second swim in the lake. This time we took her out in the deeper water and floated around for a while. The water was a bit chilly, but she didn't seem to mind. She must have even enjoyed it, because she was splashing the water with her arms.

4th of July- Round 3

The last stop on Campbell's July 4th celebration... Aunt Lowena's, which always promises to be a good time. The pictures below are of Campbell & her friend Ella Jones, daughter of Matt & Steph. Ella was born 8 weeks after Campbell, and they have many of the same outfits. Naturally, we had a fashion show so they could strut their stuff... or maybe just wiggle it!

After the girls had their fun, we did actually watch some fireworks. Campbell had four decent naps that day, and so she was ready to take it all in. The loud noises didn't even bother her as she watched the Leo fireworks. What a wonderful 1st Fourth of July for Campbell!

4th of July

At the first 4th of July party of the day, Mommy forgot to take pictures. Sorry Kristin & Lons! But, Campbell did have a great time visiting with mommy's friends from high school.

The second party of the day was at Aunt Manda and Uncle Jeff's house. Campbell enjoyed watching her cousins (& uncle) on the slip-and-slide. Everything was so nice until Uncle Jeff tried to feed Campbell a Dorito. Mommy quickly put a stop to that. Wait a minute... he tried to put a fake tattoo on her too! Uncle Jeff will NOT be left alone with Campbell!

Go Wizards!

Campbell was so excited to go to her first Fort Wayne Wizards baseball game with Mommy's work. Unfortunately, it was rather warm, and we were all tired from the day... so we didn't last past the 2nd inning.

A weekend of lake "firsts"

This was a big weekend of "firsts" for Campbell. We put sunscreen on her for the first time, followed by her first dip in the lake. The water was a bit cold, but she soon seemed to be okay with it. She really didn't seem overly excited to be in the water, but she never cried. Later on, Paw Paw and Mimi took Campbell on her first boat ride, which she seemed to enjoy much more.
