Big Girl Bed Update & Visiting Friends

We just wanted to post some pictures of some of the finishing touches of Campbell's big girl bed. Mimi Beaver made her a quilt that is absolutely adorable and perfect! She loves it and so do we. We also added a pillow, which she has adjusted to quite well. Mom was afraid of the hazards that go along with using a pillow; but there's really not much too it, so Campbell should be ok.

Playing in her bed. We've even started letting her just climb into bed herself at bedtime, and she just hops right in to say her prayers. Hopefully #2 will be this easy!

We went over in the evening to visit our friends the Joneses and Campbell's friend "Ella Bug" or "Ella Jones," as she fondly calls her. Here the girls are playing together nicely with Ella's easel.

Ella shared her baby doll with Campbell. These two are both all girls!

Campbell and Ella both got a little sleepy by the end, as you can see from this picture.

Just a note of interest... the baby on our countdown to Baby Boy's due date is now "in position" upside down. We must be getting closer to the due date, much to Mom's relief!

A Trip to Dayton

We took a trip to Dayton, OH, to visit Aunt Beth & Uncle Chris. Since Liv won't be able to travel here pretty soon, we wanted to visit to celebrate Beth & Chris' little one on the way. Unfortunately, we forgot to take any pictures of Liv & Beth. We'll just post more pictures of Campbell...

We even got to spend some time with Beth's family, including Georgie, who is about 10 days older than Campbell. The girls seemed to get along pretty well, and Campbell loved being able to run around and play.
They shared so nicely!

Getting Caught Up...

It's been a while since we've posted, so here are some pictures to catch everyone up on what's been going on with the Warners... Campbell loves her baby dolls. She loves feeding them, putting them to "night, night", pushing them in a stroller, etc. She is going to make a great big sister!

We found some great deals for winter coats for Campbell and Baby Boy for next winter. Of course, she had to try on her new snow pants for PawPaw & Mimi.

Just a little too big this year!

Once in a while, Campbell likes to hold Mommy's hand while we eat. It makes it a little hard to eat for both of us, but it is well worth it!

Cuddling on the Couch with Mom

We took a break from coloring to cuddle on the couch for a little bit. This is a rare occurance for Campbell to want to cuddle, so Mom took her up on it!

Playing Memory

As a young girl, Memory was Mommy's favorite game to play with her Grandpa Smock. The tradition carries on with Campbell and PawPaw. PawPaw pulled out 8 cards (4 pairs), and he and Campbell matched them up. She did a great job and had lots of fun playing with PawPaw.

The Big Event

Since we had a nice long weekend, we decided it was the right time to move Campbell out of her crib and into a "big girl bed." She loved helping her daddy take the crib apart so it could get moved to her brother's room.

We decided we couldn't get rid of her aquarium just yet, and baby brother won't need it for quite some time. Campbell loves this toy, and we often wake up to its music playing on the weekends.

So, the final verdict is that she made it through the first night without any problem. We put her to bed, and she drifted off to sleep peacefully. No little pitter patter of feet could be heard or any crying either. The only crying came from her mom as she put her to bed because her baby is growing up way too fast! It's got to be the pregnancy hormones, though!
