Family Christmas Portraits Gone Bad

The following are the Christmas pictures that did NOT make the family Christmas card... Campbell about ready to pick fleas out of her brother's hair.

Almost made the cut but Campbell wasn't in it and Kellen was in the midst of a breakdown. He still looks like a little man, though.

Thanksgiving Day Part II

The first Thanksgiving took a toll on Campbell, and she fell asleep quickly on the way to the second Thanksgiving at Liv's Aunt Pam's house.

Thanksgiving Part I

We began our Thanksgiving Day at Aunt Lowena's house... putting on mustaches- very appropriate for Thanksgiving.

A picture of the whole gang... Uncle Mike, Aunt Geri, Cousin Yuki, and Yuki's sister Mami (pronouced Mommy) also got to come for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun!

A New Family Tradition

On the night before Thanksgiving, Fort Wayne has a tradition of lighting the Holiday Lights downtown. We decided to take the kids down to see the festivities and go out to eat. Daddy enjoyed the pizza, and Kellen enjoyed his Cheerios.

We went to the Botanical Conservatory and stood in a pretty decent line to sit on Santa's lap. Unfortunately, Campbell is scared of him so we all had to sit by Santa and didn't get any digital pictures.

We did get a picture of Campbell standing by the reindeer. It was a lot of fun, and we hope to keep up the tradition in the future.

Sleepy Heads

After a long day, we all came home a little tired. Campbell and Kellen like resting on our bed while we get a few things done. They both obviously like their fingers and their blankets, too!

Another First

We moved Campbell out of the highchair and into a booster seat to make room for Kellen in the highchair. He does very well in it and likes being at the table but not sitting on it in the Bumbo.

Daddy's Outfit

This outfit was Daddy's outfit he wore as a little guy. We've been meaning to have Kellen try it on for posterity's sake but just haven't gotten it done. Good thing we actually got it done because it is getting a little small. At first, he wasn't so sure he liked it.

He was also a little sleepy, which is a common theme in most of our pictures.

An Early Thanksgiving

Two of the three Boston cousins were in town, so we had an early Thanksgiving meal at Auntie Arlene & Uncle Ray's house. The after-dinner activities included Aunt Weno pretending to ride on Campbell's bus (and sing "The Wheels on Bus"). The cake pan made a great steering wheel.

Then, Campbell got off the bus to try on the mullet. What a beautiful new hairdo for an almost 3-year old.

Later that night, Kellen was enjoying a little quieter atmosphere back at home. In this picture, he is wearing his older cousin Wyatt's old pjs. We are so grateful for all the clothes that have been passed on, and these are especially meaningful from Wyatt. Thank Chesebroughs!

Fun Family Weekend

We had a family weekend at the lake, and it included a trip to Pokagon to "shake the wiggles out." Campbell, Bernie, & Allie are jumping with Uncle Bubba.

Uncle JJ hurt his arm and HAD to hold Kellen while everyone else played. It was a tough job for him!

The trip to the park concluded with a long walk through the woods. Daddy could barely keep up with Campbell and the older cousins.

Kellen's New Trick

Kellen has started to clap his hands, and so he thinks he is big stuff now. He gets the biggest charge out of himself as seen by the grin on his face. We think it's pretty cute stuff.
