Finally Finished!!!

In preparation for our little guy's arrival, we converted our guest bedroom to a playroom for Campbell. This way, she can be playing downstairs while brother is napping upstairs. It has taken about 3 weekends to complete, but Daddy did a great job.

The stripes took a while to paint but ended up turning out pretty well. Liv and her sisters used to play with this same kitchen set when they were small. They are well used but still in great shape.

We can already tell that Campbell is also going to get a lot of good use out of them, as well. She loves them!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a busy Thanksgiving again this year, but it was a great day with both of our families. We started at Aunt Lowena's house with the whole family, including Me-Maw (who is usually in Florida), Aunt Lowena, Uncle Ry, Auntie Arlene & Uncle Ray, the Felgers, and even the Mike Warner family came up from Lafayette. It was great fun! Me-Maw made Cousin Shannon and Campbell aprons. They looked so cute in them! Now Campbell can help Mom & Dad make Christmas cookies.

Then, later in the day, we went to Pawpaw & Mimi's house for Liv's side of the family's Thanksgiving. There was a lot of good food there, too, including Aunt Pam's famous pies!!! Campbell is playing with her Cousin Scarlett below.

Some of the Smock great-grandkids... notice the lack of boys. Out of the 20 or so great-grandkids, only 4 are boys. Thank goodness we're adding another one!

"Cam-mel's Hat"

Campbell has finally started saying her own name. She would always giggle and smile coyly if we asked her to say her name. Now when she says it, it comes out "Cam-mel." We'll take it, though. Once in a while, she even throws in a "Warner."

She is also starting to use the possessive form to name things. She is constantly saying "Cam-mel's hat", "Daddy's socks", with a "Mommy's shoes" thrown in there once in a while.

Spaghetti Dinner

One of Campbell's favorite meals is spaghetti, as you can tell from the pictures below. She ends up wearing a lot of it, so Bailey loves it too!

As quoted by Campbell's late great-grandpa Beaver, "I don't eat spaghetti, I attack it!" So, that is where Campbell gets it from!
