Deer Watching

Campbell & Mommy watched a lot of deer eating their dinner right across the road from the house. She really seemed to enjoy experiencing nature up close.

Birthday Party - Round 3

Yes... Campbell did have a third birthday party. What a lucky girl! This one was celebrated with Mom & Dad's small group from church. It was so nice of them all, and she absolutely loved the ice cream cake roll.

As you can tell by the picture, she really loved the gifts too!!!

P.S. Sorry for the lack of postings. We seem to have gotten kind of busy lately. Doing what... we're not sure. We will try to do a few to catch everyone up.

1st Haircut

It was about time for Campbell to get a haircut since it was hanging over her ears and in her eyes. Mommy's hairdresser had the honor of cutting it before Mommy's haircut.

At first, Campbell wasn't so sure this was for her.
Then, she tolerated it.
And afterwards, she looked cute as a button!

Flowers from Switzerland

Mommy & Campbell got some flowers from Marlis & Chosy Chanton, one set of Liv's host parents from Switzerland. They have been keeping up with Campbell via the blog and were so thoughtful to send some flowers to help us celebrate Campbell's 1st year of life.

We almost had a meltdown before she even got to eat the cake.
Ok, maybe there was a slight meltdown. But of course, this could have been due to accidentally snapping the string of her party hat under her chin. Ooops!

Campbell is 1 year old!

This was Campbell's first taste of ice cream. She didn't really know what to make of it at first because it was cold. But just like her parents, she is very fond of it now.

Her birthday present from Dad & Mom. She's not quite sure what to make of it yet, but we're sure she'll get the hang of it soon.

Birthday Party - Round 1

Campbell celebrated her first round of birthday festivities with her friends and teachers at school. This was her first experience with sugar and she loved every minute of it. Somehow, she instinctively knew what to do. Needless to say, she didn't eat much lunch or dinner that day.

Maybe she's had a bit too much sugar, do you think?

Surprise Visit from Grandma!

Grandma Char suprised us all by flying north for Campbell's birthday. She arrived late Tuesday, and we couldn't help but wake Campbell up for the occasion. Campbell was a bit confused, but was certainly happy to see her Grandma!

Rough Day at School

After only a half-hour nap all day, Campbell waited until the ride home to finally fall asleep. Don't you love the new hair style?
