Fun at the Cousins' Soccer Games

Saturday afternoon was spent at Maggie & Allie's soccer games. It was so much fun to see them play. Campbell can't wait to be out there someday soon, too!

Saying Goodbye to Grandma Warner

Grandma Warner just left for Florida and Campbell wanted to see her off. We ran a bit short of time, so we had to snap these pictures quickly. Grandma Warner made it back to Florida safely. Campbell certainly enjoyed the summer with her!

Daddy's Teddy Bears

"Radar" and "Scrappy" were brought out of retirement for Campbell. Daddy used to play with them when he was little, and they were well used back then. Hopefully, Campbell will take it easy on them.

Again... the ornery look in both of these pictures. We are going to have our hands full!!!

Campbell vs. the Sweet Potatoes

Mommy tried to feed Campbell some sweet potatoes tonight, and it didn't go so well. The sweet potatoes won this round, but we'll keep trying. Needless to say, there was a bath immediately following this battle!

By the way, it's scaring us a little bit... do you see that twinkle that's starting to develop in Campbell's eyes??? I think we have an ornery one on our hands!!!

Mmmmmm... Prunes!

Campbell just started eating prunes yesterday, and she loves them! It couldn't have come at a better time because the rice cereal created a little bit of a problem for her.

Meg's Baby Shower

Campbell, MiMi, & Liv made a trip to Chicago for Meg's baby shower. She is due in November and looking great! We loved being able to see her and her family, even if it was a short visit.

Favorite Sleeping Position

This makes us look like bad parents, but Campbell did this completely on her own in her sleep. We usually find her in the morning with at least one body part hanging out of the crib. And this morning, it just happened that both of her legs were out when we woke her up.

Campbell's 1st Parade

Campbell attended her first Grabill Country Fair parade this weekend. Here she is with Aunt Lowena waiting for the parade to start. Her beverage of choice was water, not coffee.

Wearing Grandma's "red" hat and still playing with the coffee cup, Campbell didn't even need the parade to be entertained.

After the parade, we walked down to enjoy the fair.

Campbell's 1st Fever

Campbell had her first real sickness this week. She had a fever as high as 104 degrees at times. After 2 trips to the doctor, she was diagnosed with herpangina, which caused her to have blisters in the back of her throat. All-in-all, she has been in pretty decent spirits given what was going on in her body. She does have the pitiful look down pat, though!

Can't Start Too Young

This moment made Liv so proud. Campbell really seemed to like this toy she got at a baby shower.

Look at that shooting stance... right down to how she holds the ball! Campbell is a natural!!!

Labor Day at Lake Gage

Campbell spent a day at the lake over Labor Day weekend. Here she is getting ready to go swimming. She had to try out the new swimsuit and coverup.
