Happy Birthday to Daddy!

Today was Daddy's birthday. We had a nice weekend, starting with breakfast Saturday morning at Campbell's favorite eatery, Willie's II. Sunday we had lunch with Andy's family, followed by ice cream in the evening with MiMi and PawPaw. Charlotte "corner-cake" must have gotten ahold of the birthday cake because we are sure that Kellen didn't eat it!

Campbell loves riding around in Aunt Weno's office chair when we visit her house. Cousin Shannon pushed Campbell around, so that they could pass out the birthday cake.

Girl Talk

Campbell already enjoys talking on the phone. We've already decided that she won't have a phone in her bedroom when she gets older!

A New Use for the Bumbo

We discovered a new use for the Bumbo, which they probably don't advertise on the box... bathtime with sister! Although he looks a little scared, Kellen actually liked his bathtime.

Of course, Campbell tried to give Kellen some bathwater to drink. That is good for the little guy, for sure!

And Campbell had to try it out for herself.

No better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than a nap with Daddy. I love my boys!

Ok, well maybe not in his sister's pink sunglasses, but he still is sure cute... plus he's so smart- he loves his mommy!!!

The Grabill Fair & Parade

The Grabill Fair was this weekend, and it was lots of fun. There is a parade on Saturday morning with firetrucks, the Leo High School marching band (Go Lions!), and lots of other neat things.

According to Campbell, the best part of the parade was the candy that was thrown out by the floats. Here Campbell is checking out her stash she had accumulated. Too bad most of it was not appropriate for a 2 1/2 year old.

We had lots of fun watching it with our friends, the Henrys and the Gerigs. MeMaw even made it back the night before from her missions trip to Solomon Island (close to Australia).

Later that night, we got together at Ava's house to watch the Ohio State/USC game. Smart parents... chocolate milk and sippies at 9:00 at night!

We went to Mimi & Pawpaw's house to get together with Liv's side of the family. Aunt Cheryl (upper right) was in town from Arizona, so we all got together to see her and catch up. The sisters and Grandma Smock

Welcome, Baby Chase

We visited our friends the Novaks over the holiday weekend. They are from Minnesota (originally from Indiana) and were visiting their family up at their lake, which was not too far from our lake. Chase sure was a cutie and we hope that they move closer so our boys can get into trouble together like their daddies did!

Bathtime

We decided it was time to try bathtime with both little ones in the bath at the same time. As you can tell from the picture, it was a big success. We're doing it until we start getting questions about the difference between boys and girls!
