Happy Halloween!

Wow! Campbell's first Halloween.....where does the time go? Good thing she had three costumes to take full advantage of the day. Her daycare took each of the classrooms trick-or-treating, so we dressed her as a pumpkin for that. As you can see by the pictures below, she enjoyed the costumes some, but also had moments where she couldn't stand them.

"Poor me... why do you make me dress up like this?"
"Oh wait, this is fun!"

Here is the second costume, a lobster. As you can see, she isn't too thrilled to wear this one either. Don't tell Campbell, but the costume was actually made for a dog. Oh well, it was cute anyway.
"Oh wait, I like this one too!"

And finally, her cousins loaned her their peapod costume. We think she enjoyed this one the best. And for being a cold fall day, it certainly helped being bundled up.

Happy Birthday Shannon!

Happy Birthday to our niece Shannon! We had fun celebrating her 9th birthday, and Campbell had fun playing with her cousin!

Cheerios & Bananas

Today was an interesting day for Campbell as she tried Cheerios in the morning and bananas in the evening... neither were very successful. Here she is trying to figure out what to do with the Cheerios. She eventually put one in her mouth then proceeded to gag.

These next few pictures document her first experience with real bananas. Again, not very successful. This time, though, she gagged so much that she threw up her green beans. We elected to to show the picture of the aftermath.
We did catch her gagging, though. Poor little Sweetpea!
"Oh yeah, and today is my 8th month birthday!!!"

Campbell's Dedication Day!

Sunday was our big day at church to dedicate Campbell. We had a private time of prayer with Pastor Ron prior to the service, and many of our family and friends were there as well! Campbell wore a gown made by her MiMi that all her cousins have worn for their baptisms. The dress and Campbell were both absolutely beautiful!

We all went to MiMi and PawPaw's house after church for some lunch and cake. We really appreciate everyone that came to support us and Campbell, as well everyone who was with us in prayer!
