Cousin Bernie has arrived!

Congratulations to our sister and brother-in-law, Sarah & Bubba, on the birth of their daughter! After over 24 hours of labor, Bernie (Bernadette) finally arrived this afternoon. Bernie weighed in at just 5 pounds, 5 ounces...however that's above average for the Beaver girl babies. So far Campbell is the largest grandbaby at 7 pounds, 5 ounces. We are all very thankful that Bernie is healthy, and mom is doing well, too!

Zoo Day!

Today, we took Campbell to the zoo for the first time. The trip was more for us than for her, but she did seem to enjoy certain parts. She really liked the aquarium with the jelly fish, sharks, & reef fish. She also seemed to enjoy the log ride. Most of all, she just liked being outside in the fresh air. It was a great experience for all!

Oh Happy Day!

Campbell started to sit up on her own this last week. She is able to sit for quite a while without tipping over. Of course, we still hover around her to make for a softer landing. We were taking pictures of her this morning and she was in the best mood. We wanted to share the pictures.

Playtime with Ella

Campbell got to spend a little time playing with her friend Ella Jones at a recent cookout with friends from church. Don't they look like two peas in a pod? "We love our toes!"

New Sundress from Grandma Warner

Thanks to Grandma Warner for making Campbell this cute little sundress! Campbell was very patient in the taking of these pictures, but you can almost read her little facial expressions..."Hurry up and take the picture already!"

"Yeah, I like my dress, but I have a question. Do you really need to take yet ANOTHER picture of me??? I've been so good, and now I just want to go play!"

Sampling Green Beans!

Campbell has now sampled the basic three cereals and seems to have a preference for barley. We've now started to work our way into the green vegetables. She gave us some pretty funny faces after sampling the green beans (mostly caught on the camcorder), but she's since seemed to eat them just fine. We think she now prefers peas over beans, though.

In case you're wondering, it can sometimes be a messy job, so Daddy needed a bib as well!

Dinner with Jaxson

It had been a while since we'd seen our friends Chad and Stacy, and their little boy Jaxson; so, we got together one evening to visit. We didn't take this picture until the end of the evening, which explains why neither baby looks very happy. In fact, it looks like Campbell is sucker-punching Jaxson, which we promise was not the case!

Happy 6 Month Birthday!

Saturday was Campbell's 6 month birthday! There wasn't a huge celebration with cake and ice cream, but we did have a day filled with fun at the lake.

Dinner at Grandma Warner's

Uncle Ry finally got some quality time with Campbell. It usually turns out that he gets to hold her when she is tired and fussy, so he enjoyed the opportunity to hold her and feed her cereal. Uncle Ry did a great job! What a natural!

After dinner, Campbell fell asleep on Grandma Warner's shoulder.

Lunch with PawPaw

Campbell is now eating oatmeal. PawPaw got to feed her lunch today, and she came out pretty clean. Looks like PawPaw hasn't lost his touch!

Newest Sleeping Position

Campbell seems to like sleeping on her belly. We put her to bed on her back, but she rolls herself over at some point during the night. The other picture is when we woke her up and turned her over. You can even see a little drool spot to right of her ear.
