Bedtime

Andy took a picture like this with his dad and brother when they were younger. This was our version of the picture, except Kellen wouldn't pretend he was sleeping... go figure!

Blueberries and Nebraska Jersey

Campbell loves her blueberries. The only problem is that she gets them EVERYWHERE.

Today we went to cousin Maggie's 9th birthday party, so Kellen had to wear the Nebraska jersey that Uncle JJ got him for his birthday. And even though it was a Nebraska jersey, Kellen sported it pretty well.
He likes to stand at the couch and put his head down.

He also likes to crawl between the couches to the end tables where he can play with the picture frames. He is a little stinker!

Brother Bear and Sissy

Campbell and Kellen are really enjoying playing with each other even if it's just in the laundry basket...

...or rocking together on PePaw's (Andy's dad's rocker).

The Big Day

This should not be the face of a boy who had not eaten in 15 hours, but our little guy was a trooper as we all prepared to have him get tubes put in his ears. We think he just liked his whale gown and the fact that he got to let his diaper hang out the back!

His fingers were definitely a lifesaver, along with his favorite blanket.
Mommy did not handle it so well as seen by the forced smile. The reality of handing Kellen off to a complete stranger so that they could give his some gas to put him under and slice his ears started to sink in.

Daddy took his turn holding our baby before they took him away.

Yep, pretty much didn't take his fingers out of his mouth the entire pre-op time.

We didn't get any post-op pictures because it was a lot more difficult. He was already crying hysterically when they took us back to see him. He could not be consoled due to coming out of the anesthesia and being very confused by it all. All-in-all, though, he did great. His ears were a lot worse than what we thought or had been told previously... one of those things that they couldn't tell how bad it was until they got in there. We are thankful that we had it done when we did are counting our blessings for that for sure! We thank God for his goodness and peace that did surpass all of our understanding (and sustaining Kellen's hunger pains, too!).

The rest of these pictures are from Campbell's gymnastics class that she has once a week at school. Kellen was doing so well that we decided to take him over to watch his sister.

Campbell loved that we were there, but we decided it wasn't best for the rest of the class. They were a bit distracted by having guests there to watch.

A Beautiful Spring Day

We had a warmer Indiana spring day, so it was time to get out for a little walk. We bundled up the kids, threw them in the wagon, and headed out for our Sunday afternoon family time.

Kellen really loved the wagon ride. He was all smiles.
Kellen kicked Campbell out so he could ride solo.

Campbell wanted to help Mimi pull her brother... in her rain boots, of course!

Campbell also got to ride on Daddy's shoulders, although Andy's not too fond of the picture of himself.
