Big Girl Panties!!!

Campbell has been showing more and more interest in going potty on a "big girl potty." So, we decided to get her some big girl panties. She looks so cute in them and it's amazing what putting her in them has done. Now she tells us when she has to go #1 (not so much with #2- YUCK) with not too very many accidents. She still wears pull-ups at naptime and at night, but she is doing a great job!

She sure is proud of herself and so are Mom & Dad!!!

Swim Lesson with Daddy

Last Saturday was a big day for Campbell. It was her first swim class at the Y. Campbell was excited about swim class all week. Both her and Daddy had alot of fun and are looking forward to next week's class!!

And here is Campbell trying to relax as she floats on her back. She seemed to enjoy floating, even though she never extended her legs. We sang "Twinkle, Twinkle" for this part of the class.

Easter

Our Easter morning started off a little rough... Mom forgot to set her alarm after the 4 AM feeding of Kellen and overslept by 1 1/2 hours. Instead of having 2 hours to get cleaned up, feed Campbell, nurse Kellen, and leave for church- we only had 1/2 hour. Somehow, we still made it to church and were only a few minutes late. After church, we came home to find the Easter bunny had stopped by. Campbell loved the books and toys she got...

... but mostly she loved the chocolate! She also liked the sleeping bag that came in a "pack-pack" with a water bottle and flashlight. Thanks Aunt Steph for that great find on the Internet!

Our little man. Poor guy only got a book in his Easter basket, and that was a last minute find in the $1 section at Target. Thanks Austin Rohrs for the hand-me-down outfit!

We then went to celebrate Easter with Andy's family at "Auntie Lene's house." Uncle Ry got to spend some quality time with his nephew.

After returning home for only a 1/2 hour nap, we headed off to spend the afternoon with Liv's family. Campbell got to play with lots of cousins (some 1st cousins but mostly the kids of Liv's cousins- maybe 3rd cousins???). Here is Campbell with Gracie Campbell & Scarlett, who is almost exactly 1 year older than Campbell and has passed down lots of clothes to us. It is wonderful!

Let the Easter Egg Hunt begin...

... and a pair of hose bit the dust. They were a little grass-stained and got a few holes in them. Oh well, at least Campbell had a great time!

Easter Preparations & A Birthday Party

This was the first year that we colored Easter eggs with Campbell because she's been too young in the previous years. She did a great job helping Daddy, and Mommy loved the clean-up since she had put plastic down all over the table. No messes or stains on clothes or the rug under the table!

Kellen, however, was too young to participate. Maybe in a couple years.

After naptime, we went to our friend's mom's house for a birthday party for Maddie Novak. Her daddy, Mark, and Campbell's daddy were good friends in high school (along with Mommy), and she now lives in Minnesota. We don't get to see her much but these two acted like they see each other all the time. Sitting beside Campbell is another friend, Camden. His daddy also went to high school with Mark and Andy. These three had lots of fun playing with Maddie's new toys.

A Visit With College Friends

I made a trip (with the help of Mimi) to visit college friends, Katy and Meg. We were all roommates during one semester in the sorority house. Katy flew in to Indy to visit family, and Meg flew in to visit her. We met them just north of Indy for lunch with all of our little ones. Katy had Nicolas about 3 weeks before Kellen was born, and Meg's Nolan is about 8 months younger than Campbell (although he's about 5 lbs. heavier!!!). It was so great to visit and catch up, even if it was a very brief visit. Who could have imagined this gang back in those college days!?!
