Catching Up on Kellen

First thing you'll notice... Kellen is now in big boy underwear. He decided it was time to make the leap onto the toilet in May, and he hasn't looked back since. It is great and has been lots easier than Campbell was. He is definitely very proud of himself, and so are we!

He was a good little client of Mommy's as he was getting it cut. We thought the short hair would be good for summer and a lot cheaper, too!

He wasn't so sure!!! Actually, he was frightened of his daddy cutting his hair :)

A Little Behind...

We've been told that we need to get up to speed on our blogging. Well, there are lots of excuses but we won't get into that. Life's busy and we got behind- plain and simple. Since we plan on using this as the kids' baby albums (goodness knows, I won't keep an actual album... it's not how I roll), then we decided we should update it. Instead of going back to Easter, we are picking up some highlights from the summer and our vacation. Hope that keeps the critics happy (you know who you are MoMo Prunty)!!!!

Disney Princess on Ice

Today was the day Campbell waited her whole life for... Disney Princess on Ice. This was her birthday gift from her Daddy and Mommy, along with a spa day to prepare for the big event. She loved every minute of it and said on numerous occassions, "This is the best day of my life!" Waiting to begin the best day of her life and get her hair done.

Of course, she had to wear her Cinderalla dress to Disney Princess on Ice. She is our precious little princess.

The whole first half of the show included all the Disney princesses except Cinderella. Campbell was so concerned she was not going to see her favorite princess. She literally squeeled with delight and started shaking when Cinderella finally made her big appearance in the second half. It was the cutest thing to watch!

The finale included all of the Disney princesses in their wedding gowns, including Mickey and Minnie. Overall, it actually was a really good show. It was such a special time spent with just the three of us. We all remember this special day!

We saved some gifts for Kellen to open on his actual birthday. Sissy was not allowed to help.

Kellen got a Lightning McQueen sleeping bag from us for his birthday. He's going to need it at the lake this summer as he's getting too big for a pack-n-play. What a big boy Kel-Kel is!!!
